Valentine's Day Lunch with Jackie's Jams

Bring some Afternoon Delight, the lunch-able kind with a sensational sandwich brought to the next level with Jackie’s Jams

The Del - Thanks to the Hotel del Coronado

  • 1 Baguette, hard roll , ciabatta, your choice

  • 1/2 lb of shaved or chunk turkey - less or more if you like

  • Several cuts of brie

  • 4 slices of bacon - or you can use bacon crumbles

  • Orange Cranberry Jackie’s Jam

  • Arugula

Slice roll and toast the inside. At home, I like to lay the turkey out on a plate in the shape of the roll I use, place pre-cooked bacon slices(Costco has it) or bacon crumble on top and some brie on top of that. Nuke it for about 1 1/2 minutes or until the brie starts to melt. Use a spatula and slide, don’t lift, onto the toasted roll. Spread some Jackie’s Jams on the roll or drizzle it on top of the turkey mix, add some arugula and enjoy with some fries, chips, and that special person.

Even if you can’t sit ocean side, share this delicious sandwich at home with your loved one.

  • Sub in our Fig Jam to change it up.

The Scarlet sandwich from Industrial Grind Coffee screams Valentine’s Day

  • Slice and Toast a Croissant

  • Like the trick above, on a plate in a croissant shape - Layer ham, turkey, bacon, provolone - nuke till melted

  • Spread Jackie’s Cherry Jam and mayo on the toasted croissant and slide that melted goodness on top of that.

The aroma of this cooking will bring out loved ones from near and far. Make a few and spread the love for lunch.

Nomads are always on the look out for green pastures and when they find it They Spread the Love. Pork Lion On a Bagel

  • Grab your Favorite Nomad Bagel, slice and toast

  • This time make your bagle shaped pile on a plate with pork loin and swiss - nuke till melted

  • Spread Jackie’s Passion Fruit Jam on the toasted bagel and slide the pork loin on

  • Top with onion and arugula

I have to squish it down a little to be able to get my mouth around it, so juicy and so good. Make it at home or pick one up at Nomad Donuts to share with your sweetheart.
